DARRELL J. GUBBELS

Mr. Gubbels was first admitted to the practice of law before the Supreme Court of Nebraska in 1977 where he practiced for 9 years before moving his practice to Castle Rock in 1986 to establish Gubbels Law Office. Darrell has been an active member in the community, as reflected below in his biography. Darrell is especially proud of his membership in the Rotary Club of Castle since 1986. In his spare time, you will find Darrell enjoying the company of his family in activities such as skiing, golfing, hiking, fly fishing or just about anything that involves the great outdoors of Colorado. Although he has provided legal services in many areas of practice over the course of his career of 40 years, he derives the greatest satisfaction and enjoyment working with clients to create an estate plan that reflects their values and protects both them personally and their property. Experience has taught Darrell that a central value of estate planning service is asking clients the right questions to stimulate the thought process that will guide them in making the best decisions for them and their loved ones.

JAIME L. STEWART

Ms. Stewart is a Colorado native, born and raised in the San Luis Valley. Before joining Gubbels Law Office in 2004 Jaime was a title examiner and licensed producer for a title insurance company in Boulder, Colorado. In her free time, Jaime especially enjoys the Rocky Mountains and is well on her way to achieving her goal to climb all of Colorado’s “Fourteeners”. She also enjoys hiking, camping and fishing, as well as scrapbooking, cross stitching, and spending time with family and friends. She finds great satisfaction in helping clients with their legal needs, whether it is seeking the court appointment of a guardian or conservator for a loved one, helping personal representatives (executors) probate the estate of a decedent, or assisting clients to complete a well-designed estate plan with last wills and testaments, living wills, revocable living trusts, testamentary trusts and powers of attorney. As much as Jaime enjoys the practice of law in the areas of probate, estate planning, and protective proceedings, she also takes great pride in the skills she has developed as a title examiner, producer and closing agent for Castle Rock Title, a subsidiary of Gubbels Law Office and agency for Attorneys Title Guaranty Fund. The review of title searches to prepare title insurance commitments and issue policies has provided Jaime with a unique perspective and an in-depth knowledge of titles, contracts, deeds of trust, mortgages and real estate in general. As such, she also includes quiet title actions and public trustee foreclosures as part of her repertoire of legal skills.
